"From the moment we go off the boat & on to the dock, our stay here was amazing! The personal service, the amenities, the room, the food everything about this place is fabulous. The owner, Marleny was the most gracious, friendly woman we have met in a long time. She was a wealth of info for planning/setting up tours and general info. We are wildlife photographers, and the guides she set us up with spotted more than we dreamed of to take pics of. The rooms are immaculate, food is fresh from their farm & the sea (they ask about dietary needs as well) the views rivaled any 5 star place around. We look forward to spending many more vacations building memories at this gem!"

"It took me a long time to realise I was no longer on the shore of Drake Bay and expect to see it out of the window still. On the morning we left we had a yellow king bird sitting on a post 10 yards from our chalet and 15 yards the other an impressive pale eagle with a fierce looking beak and similar expression. Our visit to you was the making of our trip to Costa Rica and we are finding very hard indeed to settle back into English life. You have really managed a formula for your guests so that they have the most enjoyable and comfortable time possible. "We had an amazing time at Drake Bay Resort. We especially enjoyed our trips to Cano Island, Corcovado National Park, and Sierpe River. We were impressed with all of the wildlife we saw. The staff members were very friendly and knowledgeable. Our guides were great at spotting wildlife and sharing their knowledge about them. We loved feeding the squirrel monkeys. We went deep-sea fishing and caught some tuna. On this trip, we also saw beautiful dolphins and sea turtles. Thanks to everyone at Drake Bay. We will be back."
