Horseback Riding
Depending on the tide, this horseback tour will take you along the soothing beach or through the jungle trails near Drake Bay. You will have the opportunity to see some of the most amazing ancient artifacts of the world: the mysterious stone sheres of Costa Rica. No one is sure when or how they were made, or for what reason.
Most of the sheres are made of a hard, volcanic stone called granodiorite, though a few are composed of coquina, a type of limestone. Some say that these spheres are so perfectly round that not even modern equipment could have produced something with such precise tolerances. This tour takes you to the Drake Bay community and continues along the trail to our butterfly farm.
After arriving at the farm, you will be able to view the different vegetation on animals on the farm. The butterfly farm, pineapple field, and wild boars are just a few attractions located at the farm. For the dedicated hikers and horseback riders, the farm has many trails including one that leads to a stunning waterfall.
